Home stay circuit

We first dive into the bustling valley of Kathmandu, melting pot of the Newari culture. We stay in Patan city’s historical heart of valley. then we discover the ancient way of life of the Tharu people, the only indigenous group of Terai, sharing with them activities such as fishing and dancing, along with elephant ride or canoeing on the river. The beautiful mid-mountain areas of Bandipur and Pokhara are an opportunity for an immersion among the warriors but friendly Gurung people, in their villages clinging to the foothills of Annapurna and Manaslu.

Coming back near Kathmandu, in the village of Panauti, we immerge again in Newari culture: especially with food, the richest of Nepal. Hikes and discoveries of Tamang villages and Buddhist monasteries will complete our day.
This journey, in harmony with a sample of different Nepali ethnic groups, ends with a spiritual note while staying in a Tibetan monastery in the company of pilgrims who perform their daily kora at Bouddhanath.
