Through a 45 mn spectacular mountain flight, we reach Khumbu region at Lukla, where we slowly start our trek. We will reach Namche Bazar, a rich trading village between Tibet and the Sherpa country, located at an altitude of 3440 m and considered as the capital of the Sherpas region.After a day rest in Namshe for acclimatization, we enter the Khumbu valley with its incredible giant peaks, Below the track winds through barley fields and small dry stone villages, stupas and monasteries. to the mountains more than 8000 m  : Everest (8848 m), Makalu (8475 m), Lhotse (8383 m), Pumori (7145 m), Nuptse (7879 m) or Ama-Dablam (6856 m) ...

Arrival in Kathmandu, welcome and transfer to the hotel.

Early morning flight from Kathmandu to Lukla with a panoramic view of the eastern Himalayas; Langtang, Gauri Shanker, Numbur, Manglungtse, and finally Everest appear during this 45min flight. In Lukla (2 700m), the Sherpas are waiting for us with the equipment.
The trek begins with a short descent to the Dudh-Koshi Valley.
From the village of Chaunrikarka (2 621m), the path heads north through the Sherpas villages where wheat, potatoes, corn and vegetables are grown. We cross the Dudh-Koshi on a suspended wooden bridge.

This day begins with a walk along the Dudh-Kosi. The path climbs gently. Several times we cross the river. After Jorsale (2 805m) starts a steep climb to Namche-Bazar. Half an hour later, we can see Everest. We arrive in Namche early enough to discover this famous Sherpa village and its inhabitants. Some Tibetan shops and traders sell jewelry and handicraft from Tibet. Every week an important market in Namche bring farmers from the surrounding area to sell wheat, corn, millet, etc.

Acclimatization and rest day in Namche (3 440m).

Above Namche Bazar, a gently sloping path on the mountainside towards Mong Pass, overlooking Ama-Dablan and Kantega, two of Nepal's most spectacular peaks. We then descend to Phortse-Tenga at 3600 m along the Milky River (Dudh-koshi) and reach Phortse village (3 800m). A perfect walk for acclimatization to altitude.

Slow and steady climb up the Khumbu Valley to Pangboche dominated by the Ama-Dablam. For 1:30h, we follow the Inija khola river through Shomare, and then the LobucheKhola to Pheriche.

Easy walk for 1 hour, then the trail climbs gently to Thokla (4 620m), and forwards to the Thokla Pass (4 830m), where many chortens (stupas) carry the in memory of the deceased on Everest expeditions. The path is rocky until Lobuche.

Following the Khumbu glacier; the climb is relatively easy until Gorakshep. Rest in a lodge and in the afternoon, optional excursion to Everest Base Camp and return to Gorakshep.

Departure early morning to Kalapthar (5 545m) to enjoy the view. We are in the heart of a huge amphitheater surrounded by the highest and most prestigious summits of the world in the mineral universe of the high mountains. Back to Dingboche.

To Pangboche, one of the oldest gompas of Nepal. Crossing forests and villages on the way to Tengboche, the spiritual heart of Khumbu. Visit the famous monastery in this magnificent site dominated by the Ama-Dablam.
