HALF TOUR OF AROUND ANNAPURNA

The short version of the GREAT ANNAPURNA TOUR, skillfully designed, offers magnificent views of the entire
Annapurna range. A must do trek, in 17 days only.
From Besisahar, we progressively ascend to Manang through the Marsyangdi valley, passing from sub-tropical land to more arid landscapes from 3000 m altitude onwards. Along this way that raises us to the giants, we cross Brahman, Gurung and Tibetan villages. Prayer flags flutter in the wind. The Himalayan peaks run to infinity: Manaslu, Annapurna II, III, IV, Gangapurna...
It is via the Thorong pass, at 5400 m, that we switch to the lower Mustang valley. Change of scenery: the valley is wider, the land more arid, the mineral colors turn from ocher to red, to green ... Sumptuous villages such as Jarkhot and Kagbeni punctuate our descent. Flight back to Pokhara to catch up some last Nepali atmospheres.
