MANASLU TREK

Trekking in the Manaslu area means passing through a diverse landscape, walking along rivers and valleys, through forests and crossing high passes, climbing up towards glaciers and high peaks. It’s also a cultural trip, meeting with local people of many ethnic groups.

Valley of light and mountain of spirits

Deep in the heart of hidden valleys, we reach the land of the Samapa, people of Tibetan origin living at the foot of Manaslu. This part of the Himalayas remains pure and reminds one of the Nepal of 20 years ago. Far less visited than the Annapurna circuit, but just as beautiful, this trek around Manaslu (8,163 m.) crisscrosses diverse landscapes, takes you along rivers, through forests, high passes like the Larkya La Pass at 4,990m, and in the vicinity of icy glaciers and mountain peaks over 7000 m.
Trekking across many Himalayan layers brings you face to face with Nepalese of several ethnic groups, such as the Gurungs, Tibetans and Manangi in their respective villages. The Himalayas reveal many secrets hidden in the remote valleys.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Manaslu from all angles.
- A region with fewer people.
